Just like each month is represented by a gemstone, they are also represented by a flower, and in some cases two. Rose is the June flower of the month. The Rose represents love and beauty, so they would make a good anniversary gift too. Blue roses in particular mean mystery.

Birth flowers are often less well known, but make for perfect and more unique gifts than the traditional birth stone. Printed on lightly textured watercolour paper. Cut to size by hand - all sizes approximate. Colours may vary slightly due to process used. Particularly good for birthdays, sets work nicely for families or couples

Cyanotypes are photographic prints created using a process from the 1800s to produce distinctive deep blue prints, that were originally used as construction blueprints. Each print is made to order, and may vary slightly in exact tones compared to the image shown, this is due to the handmade nature of this print and the process used. For framing purposes, I recommend waiting until receipt of the print before buying frames to ensure they will be the right fit.

What is Cyanotype?

The cyanotype is a slow-reacting, economical photographic printing formulation sensitive to a limited near ultraviolet and blue light spectrum, the range 300 nm to 400 nm known as UVA radiation. It produces a cyan-blue print used for art as monochrome imagery applicable on a range of supports, and for reprography in the form of blueprints.
